Ron Wollschlager, Kasha Wollschlager & family

We are Ron and Kasha Wollschlager, and we’ve been married since 2008. God has blessed us with seven beautiful children. Our journey in the family mission field began in 2014 when we opened our home to foster care. Over the years, we welcomed many children into our lives, and in 2019 we officially became a family of eight. Then, in 2025, the Lord grew our family again when we gave birth to our precious son, making us a family of nine.

Throughout seasons of both joy and deep hardship, we have seen God’s faithfulness up close—turning obstacles into miracles and redeeming what once felt broken. The longer we walk this road, the deeper our calling becomes: to live out the Gospel in tangible ways, to walk alongside the vulnerable, and to invite others into the family of God.

Today we serve together in full-time ministry as AGUSM Foster Care Chaplains and founders of Transparent. We are dedicated to equipping the Church to engage in the foster care mission field. Our passion is to see individuals, families, and entire congregations step into God’s heart for the orphan, the vulnerable, and those longing for belonging.

Ron’s years as a Local 49 Operating Engineer and my (Kasha’s) experience as a stay-at-home mom and part-time PCA uniquely prepared us for this calling. We both know the value of hard work, perseverance, and family—and now we use our story and our gifts to build bridges between the Church and the foster care community. Our heart is to help believers discover how they can make a real difference in the lives of children, youth, and families.

With humility and boldness, we continue to share the message that every child deserves a place to belong, every family needs support, and the Church has a vital role to play in this mission.

Our Main Goals

Because every child deserves a place to belong —more than 30,000 youth aging out each year without a permanent family, we have  an opportunity to make a lasting difference.

No Place to Call Home
About 85% of youth aging out of foster care lack a stable home, underscoring the need for belonging, stability, and hope.

Lost In The System
Within two years, 1 in 4 youth will enter the justice system, and what they need most is support and guidance.

Breaking Generational Cycles
Many young women who age out face early pregnancy and foster care cycles, but support and mentorship can break the pattern.

Call to Hope
These aren’t just numbers—they’re lives to transform, families to heal, and communities to renew with compassion and commitment.
